Eid al-Adha : ‘The Feast of Sacrifice’ | Eid-ul-Adha 2016 / 1437 :-
As per Muslim calendar, Bakrid is observed on the tenth day of Dhu al Hijjah and lasts for four days.
Bakrid is celebrated by the Muslims and is the biggest Muslim festival that is worldwide celebrated so as to honour the temperament of Prophet Abraham doing the biggest sacrifice. He sacrificed his first-born son to God or Allah, the name of his son is (Ishmael). it’s thought-about as to be the biggest sacrifice anybody will make for their son. However, Abraham sacrifices a lamb because God intervened and asked Abraham to sacrifice a lamb instead.

If the moon is seen on 2nd September 2016 then Eid-ul-Adha will be on Monday 12th September 2016.
